Frequently Asked Questions

What is the LeTourneau Fund?

The LeTourneau Fund is a critical part of every academic year at LeTourneau University.  Gifts made in an unrestricted manner allow the University the flexibility to invest in a variety of critical ways throughout the campus during a given year.  Some of these meaningful efforts include student scholarships or financial aid (providing needed financial assistance for more than 90% of our students), COVID-19 relief, campus improvements, new program development and/or implementation, recruiting and retention efforts and spiritual development to name a few. The LeTourneau Fund is not a “keep the lights on” program, it is a purposeful initiative that creates opportunities for a vibrant LeTourneau experience.

How much money does the LeTourneau Fund raise each year?

Currently we seek to provide $1 million in university support from the LeTourneau Fund.  Gifts of all sizes, from $25 to $25,000, are important to meet the needs of our students. Our LETU alumni, parents and friends give sacrificially to make sure the Fund is healthy.
