As the Assistant to the Dean of Engineering, Stacee Taft has the honor of serving and supporting the Dean, Associate Dean, Faculty, Staff and students, and coordinating the Academy banquet for the Academy of Engineering and Engineering Technology.
Out of the long list of things she loves about her job is the people she gets to work with. The Faculty and Staff are some of the most humble, brilliant, servant-hearted, fun people Stacee has ever met. She stands in constant awe of how these men and women, with their depth of experience and accomplishments, are both humble and approachable. Getting to interact and impact the lives of LeTourneau students is an added blessing in her role in the SEET front office.
She has been married to her husband, Mark, for 31 years. They have two grown children (both proud LeTourneau alumni!) Stacee is active in her church, The Church at West Mountain, where she has served since moving to the Longview area in 2021.
If you ask Stacee about her previous work experience, she will express how perfectly God has developed her skill set for decades "for such a time as this," to perfectly qualify her for the position she now holds, which she views as an extension of the calling God has placed on her life to love and to serve in His Name.
