Personal

Dr. Kim was attracted to LeTourneau by the University's legacy of teaching and learning engineering from a Christian perspective. He's passionate about equipping students to serve as missionaries around the world, but especially in the technical industries of Silicon Valley, where he previously worked.

Dr. Kim lives in Longview with his wife, Seon Young, and three children, Bon, Sunny Hyang and Layna Min. When he's not in the classroom, he enjoys basketball, walks outdoors, and praising God with guitar and piano.
