Dr. Kyle Chamberlin serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at LeTourneau University. He brings more than 15 years of experience in higher education, student affairs, enrollment management, recreation, and leadership development.
Prior to joining LeTourneau, Chamberlin served as Assistant Vice President for Academic Success and Student Affairs at Kansas State University Salina, where he provided executive leadership for enrollment management, student affairs, advising, career services, housing and residential life, accommodations, recreation, orientation, student success initiatives, and campus wellness programs.
Throughout his career, Chamberlin has been recognized for his commitment to student development, retention, and organizational leadership. Under his leadership, Kansas State University Salina achieved the highest student retention rate in the institution's history at 82 percent. His dedication to students and higher education has been recognized through numerous honors, including the prestigious James J. Rhatigan Outstanding Dean Award (2023), the Kansas State University Staff Member of the Year (2015), and the Kansas State University Student Care Award (2022).
Before entering higher education administration, Chamberlin held leadership positions in municipal recreation and community development in both Kansas and Colorado, overseeing large-scale programs serving thousands of participants annually. His professional experience reflects a lifelong passion for helping individuals discover purpose, develop leadership skills, and achieve personal success.
A frequent speaker and educator, Chamberlin has taught leadership courses, presented at regional and national conferences, and served as the keynote speaker for Kansas State University Salina's 2022 commencement ceremony. His research focuses on leadership development through collegiate athletics and the long-term impact of leadership experiences on personal and professional success.
Chamberlin earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Administration from Sterling College, a Master of Science in Health, Human Performance and Recreation from Pittsburg State University, and a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Johnson University.
Kyle and his wife, Julie, are the proud parents of four children and are passionate about investing in students, building meaningful community, and helping others discover their God-given purpose.
