Office hours are primarily weekdays from 8am – 5pm, but responsibilities require flexibility that can include evenings and weekends.


RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the Vice President for Enrollment Services, the Director of Enrollment Services functions as the key person responsible for new student recruitment and has the overall responsibility of managing and providing leadership to Enrollment Team. A minimum of two years of progressively responsible administrative experience in college admissions or related areas of enrollment services is required. The director must possess strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.

  • Recruits a well-balanced undergraduate student body consistent with numerous goals established in the strategic plan. This includes working with the Vice President for Enrollment Services to establish yearly recruitment goals.
  • Reviews invitations to college fairs and make assignments to Enrollment Officers, including providing oversight of the annual travel schedule.
  • Selects, assigns, trains, and supervises Enrollment Officers.
  • Supervises the campus visit coordinator and visit processes.
  • Collaborate with our marketing team to manage mass communications campaigns to prospects, inquiries, and applicants including campus visit day invitations, e-mail and mail campaigns, etc.
  • Leads Enrollment Officers in initiating and cultivating positive recruitment relationships.
  • Coordinates weekly recruitment staff meetings.
  • Ensures compliance with all admission criteria, policies and procedures as outlined in the current University catalog and review admissions files for acceptance.
  • Participate in university committees as assigned.
  • Conducts annual reviews of admissions counselors and notifies the Vice President for Enrollment Services of results.
  • Other duties as assigned by the VPES.


  • The effectiveness of the Director of Enrollment Services in leading the recruitment team to reach short and long term goals (This includes reaching yearly enrollment goals, applicant conversion goals, and contact goals)
  • Personal growth, as seen in making mature business decisions, organizational skills, and utilization of time
  • The amount of tasks that are performed through initiative and creative thinking in an effort to assist and improve the daily flow of responsibilities for the department as a whole. This includes initiatives to excel in customer service.
  • The establishment of positive relationships across campus that result in reputable opinions and confidence in Residential Campus Admissions operations
  • The level at which the Director of Enrollment Services demonstrates public support and pride in LETU initiatives, assists others in seeing the positive aspects of a new initiative, and is viewed by other members of the campus community as a positive influence
  • Be a Christian and agree to the University's statement of faith
  • Excellent leadership, sales training, team building and communication skills
  • Master's degree from an accredited institution
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform basic computer applications (ie, Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint). Experience in Jenzabar is a plus
  • Experience with vendor analysis and metric evaluation
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve enrollment goals and track record of effectively leading a team in enrollment increases
  • Professional phone skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing
  • The ability to build partnerships across campus that result in "buy in" of enrollment initiatives 
  • Time management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines
