COST OF ATTENDANCE

For financial aid purposes, the Cost of Attendance (COA) is an estimate of the total cost to attend LeTourneau University for one academic year and includes both direct and indirect costs.

Direct Costs are those billed by LeTourneau University and include tuition, fees, and on-campus room and board for students who live on campus.

Indirect Costs are books, supplies, transportation, personal expenses, loan fees, and room and board for students who live off-campus or with a parent.

The chart below contains detailed information regarding the most current COA before any scholarships or financial aid is applied. Colleges adjust the COA yearly to reflect changes to these costs.

Tuition & Fees: The average cost of tuition and fees for a typical student based on enrolling full-time (12 to 18 hours per semester) for the academic year.

Books & Supplies: A reasonable estimate of books and supplies for a typical student for the academic year.

Room & Board: A reasonable estimate of what it would cost to live on campus or off campus in Longview while attending school for the academic year.

Transportation: A reasonable estimate of what it would cost a student in transportation expenses while attending school for the academic year. This is an indirect cost - an expense not owed to LeTourneau University.

Personal & Miscellaneous: A reasonable estimate of what it would cost a student in personal and miscellaneous expenses while attending school for the academic year.  This is an indirect cost - an expense not owed to LeTourneau University.

Loan Fees: A reasonable estimate of the total amount of origination fees the Department of Ed takes away from awarded loan.

The Average Cost information below is based on full-time enrollment in fall and spring and includes indirect expenses that are not payable to LeTourneau University (books & supplies, transportation, and personal expenses).

The estimated budgets are used to determine the amount of financial aid a student is eligible for by subtracting the Student Aid Index or SAI (from the FAFSA) from the total budget. If you have not filed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), you may do so at studentaid.gov. Your actual cost to attend might be more or less than the official COA depending on your major, participation in extracurricular activities, and travel expenses.

Net Price Calculator - Information provided here is an ESTIMATE based on AVERAGES only.  It reflects the average amount of grants and scholarships that first-time, full-time LeTourneau University students received last year, while living on campus. Your bottom line to attend any college is not the COA. It's the net price, which includes the total out-of-pocket cost that you will actually pay. These are the direct costs that will be on your statement.
