SCHEDULE: LeTourneau University invites applicants for a full-time, tenure-track faculty of accounting beginning Spring or Fall of 2027.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Successful candidates will demonstrate subject matter expertise in the field of accounting and other related business disciplines. The candidate will be expected to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in both online and in-person modalities. The candidate will show evidence of teaching excellence, skill in engaging students through active and collaborative learning, competent use of instructional technology, exceptional oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated scholarship potential. LeTourneau seeks candidates who are excited about collaborating with existing faculty and other stakeholders to expand an innovative and regionally engaged business program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • An enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith and a commitment to Christian higher education that integrates Christian faith and learning
  • Authentic support and enthusiasm for the university’s statement of faith and community covenant
  • Preferred qualifications include a CPA and a Ph.D. or DBA in Accounting; candidates with a Master's Degree in Accountancy, a CPA, and substantial industry experience will also be considered.
  • An ability to lead students in hands-on learning with a special emphasis on the latest innovations and technologies impacting their area of expertise; evidence of successful university-level teaching is highly desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, team-oriented approach to tasks; and willingness to contribute to all the programs within the School of Business.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional engagement and scholarly activity commensurate with academic rank.
