LETU to Host Global Leadership Summit Simulcast Aug. 8-9

LeTourneau University will host a two-day simulcast of the Global Leadership Summit on Thursday and Friday, Aug. 8 and 9, in the Great Room of the Allen Family Student Center at the LETU campus to help church and marketplace leaders maximize their influence with fresh, actionable tips and insights. Early registration deadline is June 25. More than 135,000 leaders from around the country are anticipated to attend.

Speakers will include Craig Groeschel, senior pastor and co-founder of Life.Church; Bozoma Saint John, chief marketing office of Endeavor; Bear Grylls, adventurer, writer, television host; Jo Saxton, entrepreneur, author, and leadership coach;  Jason Dorsey, top-rated speaker and researcher on Generation Z and Millennial generation; Patrick Lencioni, bestselling author and founder of the Table Group; Jia Jiang, bestselling author, blogger and entrepreneur; Danielle Strickland, pastor, author and justice advocate; and many more.

Topics of the summit will include building lives of purpose, impact and passion; negotiating strategies for workplace, business and home; motivation and impact on leadership; creating a culture of effective and happy teams; conquering the fear of rejection; unlocking each generation’s leadership potential; and leading lives of courage, kindness and resilience.

“As you know all too well, each of us has influence,” said Megan Harrison, event coordinator. “This conference is all about knowing how to use our influence more thoughtfully and more effectively.”

Tickets are available through the LETU website at www.letu.edu/gls [link expired].  Early bird pricing saves $10 off per ticket until June 25, 2019.  Groups of 25+ will pay $139 per ticket, groups of 10-24 will pay $159 per ticket and individuals or small teams will pay $199 per ticket.  All students, faculty members and military get a discount rate of $89.
