I moved to Longview from Port Arthur, Texas, in 1991 and I have always been intrigued and drawn to LeTourneau University. In 2017, I became an online student of Psychology. I received my BS in Psychology in May 2019 and my MA in Psychology in August 2021. I am excited to continue my relationship with the LeTourneau family and help others on their journey with higher education.
My husband and I are devoted parents of four adult children, and together we enjoy the blessings of family life. We are active members of a local Baptist church that places a high value on faith and community. In our free time, we enjoy relaxing at home together, where we share a love for watching television series and movies.
What drew you to serve at LeTourneau University, and how do you see God working in the lives of students here?
LeTourneau University has intrigued me for quite some time, standing out as my first choice for pursuing higher education. When the admissions position opened, it felt like more than just good timing—it seemed like God’s will aligning my passion for this university with the opportunity to serve its mission.
What advice would you give a student who is nervous about stepping into this next season of life?
The top piece of advice I give to all students is this: communication is the key to your success. At LeTourneau University, the faculty and staff genuinely want every student to succeed, and open communication is what allows us to walk alongside you and help you reach your goals.
