Get Ready: The EDGE June 13th & 14th Check to make sure you are ready! |
Orientation is an important part of your LeTourneau experience and is designed to help you acclimate to college and our community. Whether you are a new student or a transfer student, we expect you to come to orientation so that we can provide you with the very best introduction to LeTourneau and the resources and information you need to succeed here on campus.
We want you to feel confident in your decision to come to LeTourneau. We have a place for you, and we are glad you are here. We want the orientation experience to affirm for you that LeTourneau is going to support you in a healthy, Christian environment that challenges your whole person.

Life at LeTourneau isn't the same thing as high school. In fact, it isn't quite the same as life at any other university, either. If you want to make the most of your experience, it's best to know everything that makes LeTourneau unique, everything that's expected of you and all the resources at your disposal. We want to make sure that when classes start you are prepared and you know where to go and who to talk to whenever you need something.

Building relationships is one of the most important keys to success in college, and that can mean a lot of different things -- Forming relationships with your professors, campus employers and student affairs personnel are all things that help students become a real part of LeTourneau. Making friends with other students on your floor, making friends with your RA, or meeting your residence director count too. At orientation we want to provide time and opportunities for you to build relationships and begin the process of forging new friendships.
