Each form can either be completed online or printed for submission to the Office of Residence Life in Student Affairs. One element of our educational philosophy at LeTourneau is that students learn better when they live together on campus. This residential model shapes the way that we operate the office of Residence Life from our policies, to programs, to the design of our ResHalls. One outcome of this philosophy is our requirement for our traditional students to live on-campus. So what that means for you is that you should plan on living on campus until you meet one of the exceptions listed in the off-campus section at the bottom of this page.

If you are interested in a special living area, please keep reading on this page...
We have a living area reserved for our new, older students in the traditional program. This option is an all-private-room building for those who are not seeking the traditional Residence Hall floor atmosphere. Please list the location as Durham House (for men) or Carpenter House (for women) seeking this option. If this is you, please fill out the Private Room Request, in addition to the New Student Housing Application at my.letu.edu.
We offer several on-campus apartments for families. These apartments operate on a monthly rent structure. The apartments are available for our full-time graduate and undergraduate students with families.
Married Student & Family Housing Application
Just to make sure you know... Graduate students are not required to live on-campus. If you are interested in this option, we have a living area reserved just for our older-traditional and our graduate students. Graduate Student Housing Application.

We have limited space for students seeking to live on campus over the summer. First preference is given to students enrolled in summer courses, but we usually have space for others as well.

The on-campus apartments provide a living option for our upper-division students that gives more freedom and flexibility. To qualify, you must have a 2.5 GPA and at least 60 hours completed (Junior status).
Village Apartment Application 2013-2014
For our upper-division students (students who will meet one of the off-campus exemptions), we are pleased to offer a very limited set of apartments without the need to purchase a meal plan. If you have any questions about these apartments, please contact TonyZappasodi@letu.edu.
Rental Apartment Application 2013-2014
This option is designed for our returning upper-division students. If you are seeking a private room for medical reasons, we may also ask that you fill out this form.
Private Room Request
You'll need the off-campus petition. As part of our educational philosophy, all traditional undergraduate students are required to live on-campus. We do, however, provide for a few exemptions from living on campus:
- You are married,
- You will be residing with parent(s) or legal guardian within a commuting distance to campus,
- You have already received a four-year degree from a college or university, or have attended LETU for at least four years,
- You have served a least 2 years of continuous active military duty,
- You are enrolled as a part-time student with six or fewer academic hours,
- You will be 22 years of age or older by the first day of class.
- You have completed at least 90 credit hours while maintaining at least a 3.0 GPA with no academic, chapel, or disciplinary probation during the previous 3 semesters.
If the above situations do not apply to you, plan on living on campus until you meet at least one of the criteria.
Petition to live Off-Campus
As outlined in the Student Handbook, as a commuting student, you must keep the Student Affairs Office updated with your local contact information by the end of the first week of classes each semester. Please use this form to do so.
