SCHEDULE: This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the university's School of Business.

LeTourneau University invites applications from exceptionally qualified candidates for one full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the university's School of Business. The position is open in terms of rank, with the primary discipline in finance or accounting. Applicants in finance must be qualified to teach undergraduate and MBA courses, including principles and intermediate level courses in finance, and upper-level finance electives. Applicants in accounting must be qualified to teach undergraduate and graduate accounting classes. Expertise in teaching tax is especially needed. Preference will be given to candidates who have a Ph.D. or D.B.A. in finance or accounting. Candidates who are nearing completion of an accredited doctoral program will be considered and are also encouraged to apply.

  • A commitment to advancing the use of technology in academic applications;
  • Knowledge of current trends and issues in education;
  • Knowledge of curriculum and program assessment and development;
  • Ability to work effectively in a team relationship with fellow faculty and staff members and within the community of LeTourneau University;
  • Become a vibrant member of the university community contributing to student success;
  • Maintain a commitment to academic scholarship in field of expertise.
