Personal Bio
I love reading, writing, photography, traveling, and cooking. I also love music and have played guitar for more than half a century. I have many guitars, but my favorite is my 1974 Les Paul which I named Sweetheart. I also love pontificating about quantum physics, the origins of the universe, and the intersection between science and the Bible. I wrote a book in 2012 called Prayer, Quantum Physics and Hotel Mattresses: Dissolving the Barrier Between the Seen and the Unseen (Destiny Image) in which I use illustrations from science and quantum physics to discuss the unseen spiritual realm that surrounds us. I am about to finish its sequel, Faith Is.
I worked in the manufacturing industry for 35 years as a robotics specialist. Now I am thrilled to re-direct that experience toward the mission of LeTourneau University. I believe God has called me to invest my life in the lives of those who are about to shape the future of our culture, in order to achieve our most important goal as followers of Jesus: "On earth as it is in heaven."
I live in Shreveport, Louisiana with my wife, two amazing kids, and Scarlett, our frighteningly smart and precocious golden-doodle.
