RD: South Hall, Howe & McKinley Houses

I was born and raised in Minnesota and have great pride in the "Land of 10,000 Lakes." After finishing my B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies at Bethel University (St. Paul, MN), I moved to the "Crossroads of America" (Upland, IN) and earned my M.A. in Higher Education and Student Development at Taylor University. I began my life as a Texan in summer 2014 as the Residence Director of Gilbert Hall. Currently, I have the pleasure of working alongside the men and women of South Hall.
I love working alongside students as they discover who they are and how they’ve been written into God's story. The highlight of life with students is seeing and participating in their learning. I look forward to taking "in the greatness of the world and the grace of great things" as students live in relationship with others in Gilbert Hall and beyond (Parker Palmer, The Courage to Teach, p. 116).
I enjoy all things outdoors, from lying in the grass to snowboarding in the mountains, if I'm outside I’m probably at peace. My friends have always been my best teachers. I take pleasure and joy in a good cup of coffee shared with family or friends. I love reading stories of people's lives and learning from those that have come before me, but I also fancy young adult fiction.
