In the past decade, LETU has produced more classroom teachers than any other private university in the state of Texas. Our students have a 99 percent pass rate on the Texas state-mandated exam for teacher certification.

LETU's Aviation & Aeronautical Science Program has teamed up with Envoy and SkyWest Airlines to offer qualifying Professional Flight students, putting them on the fast-track to rewarding careers in commercial aviation.
Loening Trophy Winners
LETU’s Aviation was named the best all-around college aviation program in the nation when it was awarded the Loening Trophy, the rarest of all collegiate aviation honors.
Last year, LETU Computer Science majors Micah Shennum, Terry Penner, and Daniel Rothfus traveled to Moscow, Russia to compete in the International Collegiate Programming Competition World Finals.
The ICPC doesn't distinguish between schools with undergraduate and graduate programs, which added an extra challenge for LETU's all-undergraduate team.
“LETU is the only undergraduate school in our region that has sent teams to the World Finals since 1993, when a team from Abilene Christian University was invited,” said Dr. Brent Baas, the team's faculty sponsor.
