Solheim Recreation and Activity Center

The 75,000-square-foot Solheim Recreation and Activity Center is LeTourneau University’s hub for its 13 men’s and women’s NCAA Division III athletic teams (and intramural sports, which are a pretty big deal here).

The Solheim Center is available to LETU faculty, staff and students for working out (or just hanging out). It features:

• 2 gymnasiums
• 2 sand volleyball courts
• Free weight and nautilus room
• Coaches and departmental offices
• Steudler lounge & big screen
• Waveless swimming pool
• 3 racquetball courts
• 6 lighted tennis courts
• Exercise lab for kinesiology students
• Aerobics/martial arts room
• Indoor running track (~11 1/4 times around= 1 mile)
• Equipment room – Students can check out sports equipment free of charge
