The 4th Biennial LeTourneau University Student Scholarship Conference titled “Discovery, Interpretation, and Understanding: Reading Across the Disciplines” will be held from 8:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12 in the Education Building and Longview Hall at LeTourneau University, 2100 S. Mobberly. The event is free and open to the public. Detailed programs will be available at the event.
About 75 LETU students from a broad variety of disciplines will present their scholarly research by reading their papers, giving presentations, and serving on panel discussions on a variety of topics from across the university during the Student Scholarship Conference on Saturday.
The 9 a.m. plenary session will be presented by LETU English professor Dr. Jim Watson in Room 117 of the Education Building and will highlight the 400th anniversary of the King James Bible (1611-2011).
The conference is sponsored by the School of Arts and Sciences and the English Department. Program Chair is Jim Watson.
