LeTourneau University will feature Christian singer/songwriters Shane and Shane in concert during chapel at 10:50 a.m. and again at 7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 24, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center at the LETU campus, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave.
Among the most devotionally focused singer/songwriters of this generation, Shane and Shane have cemented their status as a one of the contemporary Christian music’s most consistent, compelling and successful artists for nearly a decade. The acoustic guitar-wielding duo of Shane Barnard and Shane Everett has averaged 250-300 shows per year for most of its career, not to mention numerous independent recordings and six studio releases.
The duo’s latest album, “Everything is Different,” has emerged as the most musically diverse album of their career. Lyrically, with a focus on teaching, training and discipling students in the area of worship ministry, the duo believes it contains more word-for word Scripture than any album it has ever done.
Tickets are $12 general admission for the 7 p.m. performance and can be purchased before the show at the Belcher Center Box Office.
