LeTourneau University President Dr. Dale A. Lunsford has been invited by the Council of Christian Colleges and Universities to speak at two of their events on strategic planning.
Lunsford is speaking to the CCCU’s New President Institute on “Strategic Planning for the New President.” Lunsford became president of LETU in 2007 and has led the university through a successful strategic planning initiative. The New Presidents Institute is designed for university presidents in their first four years of tenure to come together to learn best practices and problem solving. They work with experienced presidents in a mentoring relationship throughout the year following the Institute.
He also is speaking to the CCCU Governance Institute on “The Partnership of the University Board and the President in Strategic Planning.” The Governance Institute provides university leaders opportunity to develop their action plans, share best practices, discuss roles and responsibilities of presidents and their boards, and solve problems while they stay current with new and regulatory issues affecting their institutions.
The CCCU is an international nonprofit association of intentionally Christian colleges and universities seeking to advance the cause of Christ-centered education and transform lives by faithfully relating scholarship and service to biblical truth. The CCCU has 111 members and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
