Tue, Nov 3 2009
Students interested in learning more about LeTourneau University
can visit and log in to get the scoop on scholarships and financial aid, college life, programs and
much more during a special online event.
LeTourneau University will be one of hundreds of colleges
that prospective students and parents can chat with admissions counselors online during an event
that is like a virtual college tour November 4-7, 2009 at
www.CollegeWeekLive.com. The purpose is for high
school students and their parents to learn more about the colleges their students are interested
in. It gives students real time with an admissions counselor, right from the comfort of their own
homes.
LETU Director of Admissions James Townsend will co-host an “Ask an
Admissions Officer” session with Carrie Murr of Schreiner University in Kerrville, Texas, on the
first day of the event from 3 to 4 p.m.
LETU admissions counselors will be online from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Wednesday and Thursday; and from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday – all times are Central Time
zone. For parents whose students are interested in looking at many schools, the live, online
chat event will make sense to their pocketbooks.
