Enrollment has now begun for LeTourneau
University’s 2009 Summer Camps. The week-long academic and athletic camps begin June 8 and
run through July 24 for students entering grades K-12. These camps are designed to help students
enjoy hands-on learning opportunities throughout the summer.
“LeTourneau University is known for offering excellent academic and athletic camps in a Christian
environment,” said Marty Lane, director of special programs. “This year’s camp theme is “Super
Summer.” The camp schedule and online registration is available at

Leading Ladies.”
The continued growth of LEGO® Robotics camps will be guided this year by Janice Park, a teacher
from New Diana Junior High School. Lance Homeniuk is back this year offering his wildly popular “
Medieval Times,” “Rocket Summer,” “Insane Science,” “Kids’ Architecture” and “Junior Engineers”
summer camps.
Popular drama and cinema camps taught by Doris

LeTourneau University Athletic Camps also draw
great interest from local students who want to increase their abilities in baseball, co-ed
basketball, and girls’ soccer. Athletic camps also offer “Camp Sport Time” for children who
