LETU to host Mexico 2000 Ballet Folklórico Jan. 17

LeTourneau University will host Mexico 2000 Ballet Folklórico in a matinee performance at 3 p.m. Saturday, January 17, in the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave.  The show is the third presentation in the Belcher Center’s Big Fun Mini-series.
            Ticket prices range from $10-$25 and are available the box office at (903) 233-3080 between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday or can be purchased online at www.BelcherCenter.com .
            México 2000 Ballet Folklórico showcases regional traditional Mexican dance with 12 dancers and 12 mariachi musicians. Presentations are fast-paced; non-stop with seven different dance regions, from the hot and humid climate in the southeast, the traditional northern dances with their Czechoslovak, Poland, French influence and the Pre-Columbian dance still preserved today.
