Eleven LETU athletes named to ASC All-Academic Honor Roll

The American Southwest Conference named 11 LeTourneau University
student-athletes to its 2008 Fall All-Academic honor roll Wednesday. The ASC honored 359
student-athletes from 15 universities and colleges in recognition of their academic success while
playing collegiate sports, including cross country, football, soccer and volleyball.
In order to be eligible for ASC All-Academic honors, a
student-athlete must have lettered in the fall of 2008, be in at least their second academic year
and have a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or higher.
Athletes honored from the LETU women’s soccer team include
Meredith Bowman (Magnolia, Texas), Caitlyn Eubanks (Coral Springs, Fla.), Brooke Kincade (Sugar
Land, Texas), Jody Lang (Bandon, Ore.), Amanda Norton (Longview, Texas), Caitlin Pastore (Houston,
Texas) and Kirby Posey (Longview, Texas). In addition, the ASC recognized LETU men’s soccer
team members Norman Fleet (Dalton, Ga.), Pete Trevino (Pottstown, Pa.), Jeff Weatherspoon
(Longview, Texas) and Jon Wilcoxson (Winona Lake, Texas).
