LeTourneau University To Host ‘Leading Ladies Luncheon’ April 17

LeTourneau University will host the first “Leading Ladies Luncheon” at noon, Thursday, April 17, in the lobby of the S.E. Belcher Jr. Chapel and Performance Center, 2100 S. Mobberly Ave. The luncheon is a fundraiser to benefit scholarships for female students at LETU.

Featured speaker is Mary Whelchel, founder and president of the Christian Working Woman, whose radio program is heard on over 500 stations nationwide. Tickets are $30 each and are available by calling (903) 233-3818.

The purpose of The Christian Working Woman is to equip and encourage Christians in the workplace to love Christ more and to demonstrate this love by applying biblical principles to their lives and utilizing their gifts and abilities to build His kingdom. Her ministry is based on the very firm and unwavering belief that God's Word, the Bible, is without error and is the sole measure of everything we believe and speak.
