Skillet was recently nominated for its second Grammy award for best rock or gospel album of the year.  Since the quartet began in 1996, it has garnered 15 Gospel Music Award nominations including its most recent nomination "2007 Rock Album of the Year" for its current album, "Comatose."  The band was also nominated in the GMA Dove Awards for "Artist of the Year" and "Best Rock Recorded Song."

Averaging 200 tour dates a year with performances to nearly 500,000 people, Skillet’s latest album has doubled sales of its 2004 project, "Collide." The band’s current album "Comatose" has been listed at No. 12 on Billboard’s Top Christian Albums of 2007.
