Associate Vice President for International Admissions and Enrollment Services Alan Clipperton joined the Global Initiatives staff in January 2012. Clipperton comes to LeTourneau from Northern State University, where he served as the English as a Second Language Coordinator for the last several years. During his time as ESL coordinator, he specialized in international student recruitment, program development, retention and curriculum development.
Clipperton holds a graduate degree in Teaching English as a Second Language from Minnesota State University. He holds undergraduate degrees in Automotive Technology from Dunwoody College of Technology and Cross-cultural Studies from Toccoa Falls College. Recently, Clipperton was named Program Manager of the Year in 2010 by Northern State University and received national recognition for his work in intensive English program curriculum development.
As the new associate vice president for international admissions and enrollment services at LeTourneau University, Clipperton will lead the recruiting and retention efforts for all international students. This position will recruit international students for both undergraduate and graduate programs, including international students who are currently studying in the United States and want to transfer to LeTourneau University.
