Career Skills & Etiquette Dinner
April 21-23, 2016
Mark your calendars! Our annual Homecoming & Family Weekend is scheduled for April 21-23. Numerous popular events such as Hootenanny, the Golden Jackets Luncheon, the Picnic at the Pond featuring the Inner-Society Rope Pull & Cardboard Boat Races, the new Patio Party and Blue & Gold Banquet will again be on the schedule. We will also be celebrating LeTourneau's 70th anniversary and introducing some new activities.
The Class of 1966 is invited to begin submitting information for the Golden Jackets Memory Book. All class members are invited to submit information!
The LETU Alumni Relations team hosted an Alumni Dinner for nearly 100 attendees of the annual FABTECH Conference, held this year in Chicago. The event allows engineering alumni, LETU faculty and administrators as well as current students to engage in a time of networking and idea exchange. Thank you to all who were able to atttend!
On Saturday, July 25, over 200 East Texas alumni gathered for the annual Alumni Balloon Glow Watch Party.
The Great Texas Balloon Race is one of Longview's most popular traditions and LeTourneau is blessed to have the event hosted right outside the Paul and Betty Abbott Aviation Center. Thanks to all alumni and families who joined us for this exciting event!

On May 9 we welcomed over 300 graduates into the LETU alumni family. The keynote speaker was Texas Rangers owner/co-chairman Dallas oilman Ray C. Davis, a LeTourneau business alumnus. In 2015, Davis was appointed to Major League Baseball’s Executive Committee.
This past spring, the Alumni Relations and Development teams hosted luncheons for LETU graduates and student interns at AAON, Inc., and JW Operating facilities, both located in Longview. In June, Alumni Director Jamie DeYoung visited with Iowa-area alums working with John Deere and Rockwell Collins. Each of these events gave our team the opportunity to talk candidly with alumni about engagement opportunities with the university.
Thank you, AAON, JW Operating, John Deere and Rockwell Collins for supporting LeTourneau graduates!
