Hate Offenses

 

The Campus Safety Security Survey statistics are compiled, by Federal law, for the most recent completed calendar year. The statistics are gathered in September of each year for the completed prior year. This means that as of October 1, 2013, the report will reflect statistics for calendar years 2010, 2011 and 2012.

The following hate offenses manifest evidence of prejudice based on race, religion, sexual orientation, gender, disability or ethnicity/national origin.
a. Murder/Non-negligent manslaughter
b. Negligent manslaughter
c. Sex offenses - Forcible
d. Sex offenses - Non-forcible (incest and statutory rape only)
e. Robbery
f.  Aggravated assault
g. Burglary
h. Motor vehicle theft
i.  Arson
j.  Any other crime involving bodily injury
