Women's golf places 13th at UMHB Fall Invitational
TEMPLE, Texas
– The LeTourneau University women’s golf team placed 13
th Tuesday during the final round of the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Fall
Invitational at the Wildflower Country Club.
The YellowJackets shot a second-round 388 to finish the two-day event
with a 776. Lubbock Christian won the invitational with a 621. Western Texas Community College
(639) was second, followed by Southwestern (643), UT-Tyler (679), Tyler Junior College (679), UC
Santa Cruz (684),McMurry (687), Oklahoma Baptist (688), Mary Hardin-Baylor (700), UT-Brownsville
(735), Trinity (746) and Texas Lutheran (772). UT-Dallas (820), Texas A&M-International (831)
and Hill Community College (851) rounded out of the field.
LeTourneau’s Leslie Lee finished tied for eighth after shooting an 81
for a two-day total of 159. Kristen Baskin (tied for 64
th) first a final-round 102 for 198. Elizabeth Zapata (68
th) and Katy Adkins (76
th) shot 99 and 106 during the second round for 205...
