Men’s Golf takes fourth at Louisiana Fall Invitational
ALEXANDRIA, La. – The LeTourneau University men’s golf team wrapped up fall play
by taking fourth during Tuesday’s final round of the Louisiana Fall Invitational at OakWing Golf
Course.
The YellowJackets, who shot an opening-round 313, finished the second round with a 324 for
637. UT-Tyler won the event with a 578, while Texarkana Community College (582) was second,
followed by Mississippi College (597). Louisiana College (648) was fifth and Hendrix (696) placed
seventh to round out the field.
Spencer Rothluebber, who finished the event with 24 pars, shot a second round 77 for a two-day
total of 150 to place tied for ninth. Steven Morris (70-83—162) and Eric Boone (83-79—162) finished
tied for 17
th, while Jason Naron (78-85—163) was tied for 19
th. Hayden Adams (93-87—180) and Dustin Cluff (93-100—193) were 30
th and 31th, respectively.
Texarkana’s John Swanepoel won the event by shooting a final-round 67 to capture individual
honors.
