Information for Department Copier Managers

Copy Counts and Meter Readings

Each month, around the 20th, you will need to send a Meter Reading and/or Copy Count to the Print Shop - DenaCanaguier@letu.edu.

The Meter Reading is taken by pushing the button the keypad that says Counter Check.  The top number is all that is needed.

The Page Totals will give you the Copy Count for each user ID.  To get this:

  1. Key in your user ID on the copier.
  2. Press the ID button on the keypad
  3. Select Additional Functions on the keypad.
  4. Select ID System Settings
  5. The copier will prompt you here for your System Manager ID and Password
  6. Key in your System Manager ID (3 numbers provided by ETCS – NOT your user ID).
  7. Press the password button and key in the password (3 numbers also provided to you)
  8. Press the ID button on the keypad again
  9. Select ID Management
  10. Press Page Totals
  11. Select either Print List or Print Totals
  12. Press Yes
  13. After the pages print press Clear All Totals
  14. Press Yes

It is very important to clear the totals each month after you print them.  If you fail to do this the totals will be added to the next month, making the next month be over on counts.

Once you have printed your totals, you will need to match the copier IDs with the different departments and send the Department Totals (not the individual totals) to the print shop.  It doesn’t matter what program or format you use – whatever you are comfortable with is fine.  You must send the Department number not just the name - for example 10-5551234 and the amount of copies made for that department.
