Housing Application

Congratulations on your acceptance to
LeTourneau University!

LETU is a residential community committed to providing you an excellent living and learning environment. We work hard to provide an atmosphere that promotes academic learning and spiritual growth. Our Residence Halls and Apartments are all great places to live as you attend LETU.  Each living area has a personality all its own, so we have something right up your alley. Our students love the Residence Halls! Everything on campus is nearby, you have great friends next door, and there are usually a few older students who can help out new students with homework. The Residence Life Office and our professional staff of Resident Directors (RDs) look forward to spending the next 4 (or so...) years getting to know you as we live life together.

Priority for on-campus housing is based on the final date the following three items have been completed: (1) housing application, (2) payment of $100 pre-registration deposit, and (3) payment of $150 housing fee.

We attempt to house incoming students based on the order which they rank their housing preferences. This is ultimately constrained by available space, so if you desire to live in one of the living areas in higher demand (typically the newer halls), it is in your best interest to submit your application(s) and payments as soon as possible.

For Fall and Spring semesters, all single students are required to live on-campus unless they meet one of the following criteria:

  • You are married or a custodial parent,
  • You will be residing with parents or a legal guardian within a commuting distance to campus,
  • You have already received a four-year degree from a college or university, or have attended LETU for at least four years,
  • You are enrolled as a part-time student with six or fewer academic hours,
  • You have completed 90 credit hours with a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.00,
  • You have served at least two years of continuous active military duty,
  • You will be 22 years of age or older by the first day of class.

(Note: If you do not qualify for off-campus housing according to the criteria listed above, it is likely that your request to live off-campus will be denied. To ensure that your on-campus housing preferences are given priority, please fill out the applicable housing application(s) as soon as possible.)
