Full-time position, primarily weekdays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional weekend and other hours will be required. There will be extensive travel. Consideration given to other Texas locations outside of Longview.


  • Assist the Development Office with strategic planning and implementation of all fundraising activities.
  • Maintain a large portfolio of constituents and cultivate toward major gifts.
  • Work to develop a new pool of constituents for LETU.
  • Be out in the field visiting constituents at least 75% of the time.


  • 5 years of experience in fundraising or a related field
  • Track record of high achievement
  • Strong computer, verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to set goals and develop plans to meet those goals
  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • High energy
  • Willing to travel most of the time
  • Enthusiastic and contagious Christian faith committed to Christian higher education that integrates Christian faith with learning
