SCHEDULE:
The position is for nine months, with the possibility of summer school teaching. Classes and other responsibilities are conducted primarily weekdays, but will include some evening classes and independent studies. Attendance will also be required at some evening and weekend events.
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
• Prepares course materials and assessments.
• Conducts laboratory instruction conforming to best practices.
• Obtains laboratory equipment and supplies for instruction including undergraduate research.
• Participates actively in the University learning community.
QUALIFICATIONS:

LeTourneau University operates a Federal Aviation Administration, approved Air Traffic
Collegiate Training Initiative (AT-CTI) program as part of it’s A.S. in Air Traffic Control and
B.S. in Air Traffic Management. Minimum professional qualifications are:
• B.S. degree, M.S. degree in aviation desirable
• Significant experience in the U.S. Air Traffic Control System
• Teaching competencies must include the ability to design course material for lecture
and lab formats including syllabi and assessments.
• Interpersonal skills to effectively and professionally interact with students,
colleagues, and administrators in a university learning community. This includes
significant skills in academic advising.
Desirable professional qualifications are:
• Commercial pilot – airplane single engine land
• Instrument rating – airplane
• Multi-engine rating – airplane
• Certified flight instructor airplane
• Certified instrument flight instructor
• Certified multi-engine flight instructor
• Advanced Ground Instructor
• Air Transport Pilot
• Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certificate
