LETU Web Standards

The LeTourneau University Web site serves as the initial point of contact for many of its primary constituents, including prospective students and potential donors. Considering the significance of first impressions, the Web site is a pivotal component of the University image and must contribute to the institution’s credibility through the consistency, clarity and accuracy of its design, structure and content. The Web standards help assure the University’s Web site continually functions as a successful marketing tool to help the University achieve its strategic priorities and vision.

 

University Web Site Maintenance and Approval (www.letu.edu)

Maintenance of the LeTourneau University Web site is managed by University Marketing and Communications. All changes and content updates on the University Web site must flow through these parties, who will collaborate with all functional areas to maintain up-to-date, accurate information as needed. Questions? Social Media Management

Any official LeTourneau University presences on social media sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, should be considered an extension of the official university Web site. Therefore, most guidelines that apply to the Web site will also apply to each dedicated LETU content on any social media site. This includes limiting copy and images to university-related content.
