Student Projects

The LETU School of Business takes its classes from acceptable to amazing by giving students opportunities to participate in real-world learning projects that not only add to their skills, but build their résumés as well.

Students complete projects in partnership with local businesses, and these projects allow them to use the skills and principles they've been learning in the classroom all semester in real-life situations.

Whether they're preparing tax returns for Longview locals, creating advertising campaigns for a pizzeria, or conducting marketing research for companies looking into new business ventures, our students work on projects that matter

Beyond student projects, internships provide students with real-world training and vital skills necessary to make it in the business industries. At LETU, internships are so important that many programs require each student to complete at least one internship in a field relating to his or her major.

Our students choose their own internships, meaning each is as different as the student who finds it. Some choose international internships, working with businesses as far away as China and Cambodia, while others stay stateside and intern with anyone from big-name companies to local businesses.

Study Abroad

We want our students to take their education beyond the classroom and beyond borders! Whether they're studying abroad for a week or a semester, our students experience culture in a whole new way.

We give our business students opportunities to study abroad while completing business courses through program-specific international study trips. For the last academic trip, a group traveled to Germany, France, and Switzerland.
