STEM Preview

STEM Preview draws together students interested in technical/science based fields such as Engineering, Math, Engineering Technology, and Computer Science.  This event will not only provide students with the regulars of preview events - class visits, tours, professor appointments, and financial aid - but will also give students who qualify the opportunity to interview for the STEM Grant. 

Students and parents will arrive on campus Thursday afternoon and start their visit time with a campus tour, dinner with faculty, and meeting with admissions counselors.  When you arrive on campus, you will receive a packet of information that includes a final schedule for your visit, a list of classes you can attend, the Realities magazine, a bookstore coupon, and more!  Parents will also receive a packet filled with important information including a local restaurant guide, the NOW alumni magazine, and other fun items to supplement their time on campus.  We hope your time on campus will help you make your college decision with ease!

Thursday 4:00 PM - Check-In begins* 4:15-5:30 PM - Campus Tours 5:30 PM - Dinner with Faculty 6:30 PM - Parent/Student Chat with Counselors Friday 8:00 AM - Breakfast with Admissions 8:40 AM - Attend Class or Professor Appointment 9:45 AM - Attend Class or Professor Appointment 10:50 AM - Chapel 11:45 AM - Lunch 12:30 PM - Financial Aid Session 1:15 PM - Residence Hall Tour 2:00 PM - Department Activities - Engineering Design Competition, etc. 5:30 PM - Competition Winners Announced and Wrap Up with Admissions

*Make a note that Check-In on Thursday evening ends at 7:30PM.


Weekday visitors may schedule an individual visit for a day that works best for you and your family.
