The Heritage Scholarship competition is designed to find students who will make an academic, spiritual, and personal impact on our campus from orientation through graduation and beyond. This “invitation only” event brings together the top admitted students from all over the globe to LeTourneau University's Longview campus for a time of fun and competition. To be considered for competition, students must already be admitted into the university, have a minimum 3.6 GPA, and have a score of at least a 28 on the ACT or 1260 (critical reading plus math) on the SAT. Every year students come and compete for one of these prestigious Heritage Scholarships. The value of a Heritage Scholarship is more than $96,000 (over four years).
The 2014 Heritage Competition will be held on January 23-25, 2014 in Longview, TX. Students must be present to compete. While we understand the dates may not work out for everyone, for consistency of the competition these are the only dates students will be allowed to compete. Students must arrive by Thursday evening and stay until noon on Saturday.
To help offset travel costs, we offer up to $300 in reimbursement for your travel to the competition (pending your enrollment in the fall 2013 semester). Download the Heritage Travel Grant form (must be submitted to LETU by March 9, 2013).
If you have questions, don't hesitate to contact your admissions counselor for more information.
