Aviation Preview

Interested in becoming a pilot, aircraft mechanic, or air traffic controller? We have the preview event for you! Aviation Preview is the ticket for students who have their sights set high. Students will arrive on campus Thursday and have time to get acquainted with campus, drop their bags in their room for the night, and head out to the airport for food and fun. Friday's schedule offers students and parents typical preview activities including class visits, chapel, residence hall tours, and lunch with faculty members and admissions counselors. You don't want to miss the Friday afternoon portion of Aviation Preview - this is when prospective students get a chance to take to the skies of East Texas (weather permitting).
We hope your time on campus and at the LETU Hangar will help you make your college decision with ease!

Friday
7:35 AM - Attend Class 8:40 AM - Breakfast with Jon Weber
9:45 AM - Financial Aid Session
10:50 AM - Chapel
11:45 AM - Lunch with Faculty 12:30 PM - Residence Hall Tour 1:10 PM - Depart to Airport 1:30 PM - Preview Flights begin (weather permitting) 5:00 PM - Wrap Up |
*Please make a note that Check-In on Thursday evening ends at 7:30PM.
Weekday visitors may schedule an individual visit for a day that works best for you and your family.
If you are planning your first visit to LETU and you eventually enroll at LETU, we
will reimburse you up to $300 (applied to your student account) for travel-related
expenses. It must be your first visit to campus and documentation is required
(within 30 days of the original visit). To apply for the reimbursement, download and complete
the Air LeTourneau
Form and mail it back to LETU with
required proof of expenses. Note - we are not able to reimburse you for frequent flyer miles
used nor do we pay mileage - only out-of-pocket travel expenses.
