HFAC Scope
Because the HF Antenna Coupler will be a proof-of-concept for the SINCGARS radio integration, the HFAC team is to design it with industry-specific concerns in mind, such as performance, size, weight, power, supportability, reliability, and cost.

HFAC Application
This project has the potential to serve as a proof-of-concept for Rockwell Collins to consider producing its own HF antenna coupler for fixed-site and maritime solutions vs. outsourcing a coupler for an HF System.
