Title:  Would the Graduate Program in Engineering Exist with Sciences' Support

The resounding answer to this question is NO!  The talk will review the  history of the first residential Master of Science in Engineering program at LETU (notice the word 'Science' in the degree!), current and future funding trends and examples of R&D projects.  Increased role of mathematical modeling and sophisticated experimental validation methods will be shown to mark the qualitative transition between UNDG and GRAD research in biomedical-, electrical-, mechanical-, and materials joining- projects.
