Attendees with no prior experience report that this talk helps with getting started using Mathematica language and workflow. With improvements like the new free-form input and expanded areas like finance, statistics, engineering, software development, and image processing, even the most advanced users report learning quite a bit from Mathematica technical talks. Short Biography

Brenda Marshall has been an Academic Account Executive with Wolfram Research, Inc. since 2008. She worked with the Midwest for the first 3 years helping colleges, universities, community colleges and high schools integrate Mathematica into their courses. She has relocated to New Mexico and now assists the southwest and southeast.

Brenda spent 10 years in legal research publishing and licensing. Previous to that, she spent 5 years facilitating the computerization of learning resource systems at Parkland College in Champaign, Illinois.
