AirVenture Alumni Gatherings
Wednesday, July 27 and Saturday, July 30
Alumni, students and friends are invited to join LeTourneau for Alumni Gatherings in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, during the annual AirVenture events! Alumni Gatherings will be held on July 27 and July 30 from 6-7:30 PM before the evening air show.
AirVenture is the world's largest annual gathering of aviation enthusiasts and will be attended by numerous LETU Aviation team members and students including Dean Fred Ritchey and wife Gail, a member of the LeTourneau Alumni team and host of the Alumni Reception. FABTECH Alumni Dinner

Homecoming & Family Weekend 2017
March 30-April 1, 2017
Mark your calendars! Our annual Homecoming & Family Weekend is scheduled for March 30-April 1. Throughout the weekend we will be celebrating 60 Years of LeTourneau Aviation as well as other reunions and academic gatherings.
Numerous popular events such as Hootenanny, the Golden Jackets Luncheon, the Picnic at the Pond featuring the Inter-Society Rope Pull & Cardboard Boat Races, the ever-growing Patio Party will again be on the schedule. We will recognize LeTourneau's five Distinguished Seniors during the Blue & Gold Banquet and we look forward to honoring these future alumni and their families during the annual dinner.
The Class of 1967 is invited to begin submitting information for the Golden Jackets Memory Book as we prepare for their 50th Class Reunion. All former class members are encouraged to submit information, stories and photos!

JAARS Alumni Dinner
LeTourneau aviation faculty and friends gathered with alumni during a special Alumni Dinner at the JAARS headquarters in Waxhaw, North Carolina. JAARS exists to make Bible translation and language development possible, especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth by enabling sustainable solutions in transportation, technology, media and training. Numerous alumni are involved with the life-changing JAARS ministry and outreach.
2015 FABTECH Alumni Dinner
The LETU Alumni Relations team hosted an Alumni Dinner for nearly 100 attendees of the annual FABTECH Conference in Chicago. The event allows engineering alumni, LETU faculty and administrators as well as current students to engage in a time of networking and idea exchange. Thank you to all who were able to attend!
Great Texas Balloon Race
On Saturday, July 25, over 200 East Texas alumni gathered for the annual Alumni Balloon Glow Watch Party. Details for the 2016 events will be released to regional alumni in the coming days. Thanks to all alumni and families who joined us for this exciting event in 2015!
The Great Texas Balloon Race is one of Longview's most popular traditions and LeTourneau is blessed to have the event hosted right outside the Paul and Betty Abbott Aviation Center.
Homecoming & Family Weekend 2016
April's Homecoming & Family Weekend celebrated LeTourneau's Platinum (70th) Anniversary. Throughout the weekend, we celebrated LeTourneau's history and traditions while enjoying fellowship with alumni, families, students and friends.
Welcome New Alumni
On May 7 we welcomed over 300 graduates into the LETU alumni family. The keynote speaker was Edmund C. Moy, former director of the United States Mint (2006-11) as well as the White House's Special Assistant to the President of the United States (2001-06). Congratulations graduates!
Regional Alumni Lunches
The Alumni Relations team hosted luncheons for LETU graduates and student interns at AAON and JW Operating facilities in Longview. Alumni Director Jamie DeYoung also visited with alums working with John Deere and Rockwell Collins in Iowa. These events gave our team the chance to talk candidly with alumni about engagement opportunities with the university.
