GREE 1113   Elementary Greek I
A media-driven study of Koine Greek. Included are mastery of essential features of Greek, basic sounds and structural patterns, and acquisition of a nucleus of vocabulary. Sample translations from Scripture are included. Class 3. (Fall)
 
GREE 1123   Elementary Greek II
A continuation of GREE 1113. Reading selected parts of the Greek New Testament and translating Scripture are included. Class 3. Prerequisite: GREE 1113 with a C or better.. (Spring)
 
GREE 2113   Intermediate Greek I
A study of Greek grammar on an intermediate level. Reading from the Greek New Testament, translating Scripture, and studying translation theory, vocabulary, and principle parts are included. Class 3. Prerequisite: GREE 1123 with a C or better.. (Fall)
 
GREE 2123   Intermediate Greek II
An advanced study of Greek grammar. Reading from the Greek New Testament, translating Scripture and extra-biblical texts, and studying translation theory, vocabulary, principle parts, and syntax are included. Individual translation projects with a focus on Greek exegesis of the biblical text provide opportunities to deepen the study of Scripture on a personal level. Class 3. Prerequisite: GREE 2113 with a C or better.. (Spring)
 
HEBR 1113   Elementary Hebrew I
A study of elementary Biblical Hebrew, including the alphabet, phonetics, basic vocabulary, and grammar. Sample translations from the Hebrew Bible are included. Class 3. (Fall, Odd years)
 
HEBR 1123   Elementary Hebrew II
A continuation of HEBR 1113, with added attention given to vocabulary development, syntax, and translating passages from various genres of the Hebrew Bible. Class 3. Prerequisite: HEBR 1113 with a C or better.. (Spring, Even years)
