Advanced topics in biomechanics with emphasis on biotransport. Basic transport phenomena and fluid dynamic principles applied to the human body with emphasis on mass, momentum, and energy/heat transport. Application of engineering principles to a variety of biomedical problems including blood/circulation, metabolism, thermal regulation, and macro- and microscopic heat transfer.
Prerequisite: BEGR 3614, or consent of instructor..
