BIBL 1043 Biblical Foundations For Living (L) An introductory course highlighting the relationship between Biblical teaching and contemporary Christian living. This initial experience in the integration of faith and learning focuses on principles of Biblical interpretation and application. BIBL 1033 Biblical Literature This survey provides an overall perspective for understanding the Bible within its historical and cultural setting. The course will focus on the reading of significant portions of the Bible so that students may grasp the framework and themes of the Old and New Testaments as well as the relationship between the Testaments. Sites relevant to biblical events, biblical backgrounds, and early church history will be explored.
