This course expands on the private pilot knowledge base with application specific to operating LeTourneau University aircraft. Topics covered include aircraft performance, weight and balance, preflight preparation, cross-country planning and forms, radio and DR navigation, aircraft systems, LeTourneau Operations and Policies. This course is also required of all students who hold a pilot certificate prior to enrolling at LeTourneau.
Prerequisites: AERF 1113 and current FAA Private Pilot Written Exam results..
Corequisites: AERF 1111 Primary Flight I or AERF 1201 for transfer students..
