|This course is a comprehensive overview of historical trends, theoretical background, and empirical research that addresses issues related to instruction of individuals with disabilities. Emphasis given to legal issues, definitions, characteristics, professions roles, identification procedures, technology, and interagency coordination. Academic experiences in an instructional setting will be included. |
