Provides teacher education majors with a current overview of legal and ethical issues in public and private schools. Topics may include: legal and ethical rights; responsibilities of teachers and students; legal cases that have impacted our educational system; terms and conditions of employment; religious freedoms; liability; student discipline; due process rights; gender issues; censorship.
