This course provides an introduction to the psychology major and career opportunities in psychology, counseling, and the helping professions. Students are provided with opportunities to develop career planning and decision-making skills that will help them achieve success as a psychology major and in a psychology career. Students will pursue experience in a psychological setting under the supervision of a psychologist or social worker. The student will learn by observing and writing about their experiences. Assessment of personal goals, values, interests, and abilities is emphasized.
